I'm eager to learn where this fixture will be played this year, the South home game I mean. Is it just me, or do I remember every South fan saying that Preston would never again play at Bob Jane Stadium again after the last game they played there. Maybe they will forfeit the 3 points out of fear!!!

Round 10 Sunday 17/04/05, 6pm BJS
BTW, South and Preston have met a few times at junior level since too. Supposedly that wasn't going to happen either.
I reckon all will be fine, but if things look threatening in the lead up the VSF might have to look into playing it in a "closed" environment or "home members only".

Surely Heidelberg v South Melbourne is a bigger derby - just look at the crowd numbers over the past 30yrs.

Listen Melbfan, noone gives a sh|t about Heidelberg the yoyo club of Victoria. Get over it. Outside the greek community no one cares. You may get bigger crowed for that game because of the large greek community over here but at the end of the day the preston game will be the one that everyone hangs for. South vs Knights deserves to be known as the battle for Victoria as it will be contested by the best two vic clubs but I doubt that it will generate as much interest as to the south vs preston game.
Then again who knows. Last week Rockdale Ilinden beat Sydney Olimpic 1:0 in front of 2500. Perhaps it may all turned to be just hype.
There is a good possibility that a busload of preston fans may be joining our brothers is Sydney (Bankstown Makedonia) when they play olimpic and vice versa. They will come for the game against south.

Yeah like the community cares about a Knights v Preston game. I don't see you guys getting almost 12,000.

No one saw you get 12 000 either. Hellas fans (who are known for bumbing up crowds claim it)
