New Zealand Knights 1 (Jonti Richter 39)
Newcastle Jets 1 ( Mark Bridge 57)

Looks like the Knights should be a bit more competetive this season, apparently had quite a few chances to grab a win.

Yeah, they've signed well, I expect them to be a bit tougher this year.

Less than 1k is a disgrace.

If they start winning and start playing good football they could potentially attract 30K plus to every game... they are NZ's only team, if they improve upon their performance the whole country could get behind them...
Please.

NZ would struggle to get 30k for the entire 64 games of a world cup

not that they'd ever get to host it.

30K for a Knights game... That's the funniest thing I've read in a while ;)

Isn't that why they were put in the A League - 1 team from a population of 3 million? ...............Good in theory.
