Adelaide United will be kitted out in a new Reebok away strip for the 2006/07 Hyundai A-League season.

All clubs were given the opportunity to remodel the away kit, with Adelaide United opting to make a few minor changes from last season’s design.

While the strip remains predominantly white, this season the design incorporates more red, as has become synonymous with Adelaide United.

The design of the strip is the latest from Reebok and is a world class garment that is sure to be popular with Adelaide United fans.

The club is delighted with the end result and the kit will be on show during Adelaide United’s first game of the Hyundai A-League season against Melbourne Victory in Melbourne on August 25.

Yeah who the fuck is Surname ;)

Not to bad, but it's not my cup of tea.
The league wants away tops to be predominatly white so I guess it is complying with rules.

Meh... it has nothing on ours.

I just wish they'd wear red against us... Teams wearing their home strips against each other in the pre-season cup has been a welcome sight.

Also Teams wearing there home strips during the finals last year i thought it was alot better. If the home strips of both teams don't clash then i think you should be able to wear it.

I would have preferred some other teams also went with different colours for their away strip rather than white. I know the FFA want white away strips but i cant see why we were the only ones to try something different. At least they have a new design.

For the life of me I just dont get why the FFA wanted white away strips for all away teams in the first place -whats the advantage?

$$$

There wouldn't be too much need for the away strips at all if the rule was in place. I suppose they want to expose the away strips as much as possible to get people to buy them.

what a load of spin-doctoring cr@p. pick up a copy of the latest Fourfourtwo magazine and you'll find that apart from Melbourne Victory, all other clubs have chosen the same template as above.

Sydney have added sky blue to the shoulders, Perth - purple, Central Copast - gold, e.t.c. e.t.c.

they used surname because everyone is related in Adelaide. They in fact do not use surnames. You are either brother, mother, father or sister. In some cases more than one of those applies.

It's good that clubs are changing away kits, develops the league.

Barring the fact that the tinge on the shirt is now red instead of Navy blue...
