Would Fred currently be the best player in the A-League?

defnitely.

Branco Culina said on TWG that Carle was but I think for the amount of shots he has he doesn't score enough.

Fred is more effective but then he has a much better team around him then Carle.

I still say fred by a bit of daylight though

Yup exactly right and it is whats most scary for other clubs. Last year we really missed Danny's form (everyone who followed his stats throughout europe knew it was coming) and now we have 3 class players in attack. I really couldn't say who's been the best on form though. Fred has been in amazing form scoring and creating at least 4 or 5 since he got back. Archie and Danny would be around the same too. Gee i love the squad they got together!

not to mention roddy is the best defender, muscat and brebner are 2 of the best midfielders, leijer and prio best 2 young defenders in the league, theo probably in the top 3 keepers and ALESSANDRO AND SARKIES ON THE BENCH!

If Carle could get a few more past the keeper then he would be the best, but Fred has shown to be the best value right now along with Danny.

but Stats dont lie Bollocks they don't. They can say what you want em to.

In this case, tho, they're perhaps correct that Allsopp has been the best player.

Last year Petrovski was No.1 for goals in the league- didn't mean he was the best.

I still think the allsopp baggers of last season will be proved right.

8 goals was enough to win the goalscoring last season wasn't it.

Fred because he is far far better than any other player playing at "number 10" position.

Allsopp has been fantastic but there are other good strikers in the league
