Highly unlikely. It was a magical performance from Dukes. Couldn't believe my eyes when I was watching that game. Simply amazing. :D

In terms of a brilliance of performance, I think Bresciano's performace against Milan was of a similar calibre, Viduka in Boro's UEFA Cup run
Of course... Timmy Cahill v Japan :D
But scoring 4 goals, I hope we will see something like that...

They didn't show it in that video but the best bit was when he zones into the camera lens at full-time and says something like 'Hi Mum' or 'Hi Keilor' or something :D such an AUSSIE!
Incredible moment, would love to see such an epic individual performance from an Aussie!!

i think it was hi mum, great game which ive watched so many times. Its sad really that he hasn't recaptured his form from leeds around 4 seasons ago. I remember him tearing up the epl, then starting to get stuck in injury clouds and bad form.
I cannot really think of any performance that would go close, maybe schwarzters in the WCQ :D From a keeping perspective though, Schawtzrer vs france at (i think it was 2001) confed cup against france, pulled of some amazing saves.

i think the thing that had to be emphasised is that no only were they 4 goals, but they pretty much were all (maybe bar the first) brilliatn quality goals. He tore their defenses apart. A lot of players would of had the same amount of scoring opportunities in a game before, but they never put everyone away like he did tha day.

and not to mention that he wasn't playing against a half-bad side either. and the goals didn't come when they were behind...and the other team didn't happen to score one less goal than his individual tally ;) not a half-bad performance  :)

Ahhhhhhhhh... I remember listening to this game from a friend's house in North Yorkshire. It still hurts! I was happy for Mark but it HAD to happen against Liverpool.
It was quite surreal actually. Goals were flying in left right and centre.

Best ever performance by an Aussie abroad for sure.
In terms of goalkeeping i reckon Schwarzer Vs Netherlands was better than Schwarzer Vs France. A Dutch friend of mine said alot of people around de-kuip that day were saying it was one of the best goalkeeping displays they had ever seen.

Yeh thats the one. The V.Persie free kick hit the post. That save in the video from a sneijder shot outside the area was amazing, it looked like a certain goal, but even better than that were the close range reflex saves he tipped over the bar with his legs, unreal.

Watch the crowd all stand up just before his third goal.
The excitement was building. Great stuff.

Yep, remember watching the match live. Crazy game but when Dooks is on fire there's no better Aussie around, and that's still true. Best class striker Australia has ever produced by far.

Imagine the strikeforce:
Allsopp, Thompson, Viduka.

Probably been answered before... but has dukes said anything about coming to play for victory? or will he go to whoever chucks the most cash at him?

He said he'd like to come back home to play for Melbourne.
Not to mention that he is also an international ambassador for MVFC.

to quote the special comments guy (i think its andy grey) "sometimes you dont need words"
it shows the absolute class dukes can be, unfortunatly he has never really performed to the same level for australia (not to say he hasnt been a good player for us.
its just absolutly magical
