1-1 draw. the knights will build on last week and sydney have to many key players out. if knights score first it will be a knights win.

Who would have thought that we could talk about Sydney drawing/losing to the Kiwis at home, and not be taking the piss. Yet here we are....

Although, I think they will win 2-0 :(

Scum are bad, but I don't believe they are bad enough to loose at home to the New Zealand.

2-0 looks the goods.

Hopefully my foxtel is hooked back up in time for this game.

PS. peterss, your pathetic excuse for a team played the shittest looking football I have seen in my life last night

The interesting thing about this game will be the crowd.

Sydney only got 12k last home game.. and since then they haven't won (i think it's been 6 weeks without a win now) and also the New Zealand factor will come into effect.

So it's possible they will stoop even lower with another disappointing crowd.

I hope the kiwis lose and they get kicked out of the comp ASAP.

Besides Sydney need the win for their bandwagon supporters.

22.9k.

despite it being our lowest TD crowd all season - it was still a good turn out..

I dont really care who wins tonight. I hate Sydney - but as someone else said, its important for them to keep winning to get their crowds up..

As for NZ - I just couldn't care less about anything got to do with that club. It's littered with old hacks who should be playing conference football in England.

NZ wont do anything tonight.

They have scored 4 goals all season.

1. A ripper from Buari
2. A goal off a deflection.
3. An own-goal against Adelaide
4. An own-goal against QLD.

Cant see them scoring away from home tonight...

Crowd will be 11k or such, maybe even 10kish

Dip in form (esp home form) sucks

A draw would be alright. Preferably after Sydney has taken the lead.

I don't want Sydney to win but a loss at home to the Knights would be a real kick in the guts, and bad for future attendances.

laz

you cant under estimate nz. they have some good players who can change a game. defensively they are quite sound. scoring goals is a problem. if they get one early lights out for sydney as they have no to score goals. the sound of david zdrilic does not quite scare defenders

jimihendrix70
November 10th, 2006, 04:38 PM
well nzk will be lucky for a draw they just cant score goals but then again sydney cant really defend for 90mins so it should be interesting

laz
November 10th, 2006, 04:44 PM
they have had the odd blow out. thats due to the fact they have to defend for a good 80min. you can give stats all day but its one of many factors in a football team

laz
November 10th, 2006, 04:46 PM
casey last game was unlucky to score. Buari is a starting 11 player at any a league team. hicky is a little hot and cold but on his day can produce.

WTF!?

Who?

And they have been conceeding an average of 2 goals a game!!!

Malik Buari
Richard Johnson
Scott Gemmill

The problem with NZKFC is if they go a goal down, especially in a match, they lose all confidence and go to pieces. The longer they stay up the more confident they get and the better they look.

I want Sydney to win. They're starting to struggle a little in their market. I hate Sydney but I love football.

This is the Sydney attitude though, always has been and seemingly always will be. If they're winning, they're popular. But if they're losing, don't expect any loyalty...

The crowd always sounds louder in an empty stadium, because the mics don't pick up the noise from other parts (of the ground). Our chants have to actually compete with the rest of a very vocal home support, unlike the Crack...

Robbie Slater getting stuck into the Sydney FC fans for not turning up, and then talking about how great the support in Melbourne is this year. He said doesn't matter if they have been struggling, you support through thick and thin.

Shithouse effort by the Sydney fans.....I don't think it's funny, a struggling Sydney will kill the league.....It's not funny in that aspect, but funny how they always refer to themselves as the best fans in the league yet they can't even crack 10,000 to a game.

Don't worry too much, they have a win now so expect all the glory seekers to be back out again next week. That is if there is no concert, or it isn't raining, or...what other excuses do they use?
