More importantly than the world cup path (important as it is) is the chance of participating in Asian cups both for the national team, but for us A-League aficionados is being in Asian club championships (I think there is another thread somewhere about this) the exposure any A-League champion will have (and associated sponsorship) will make any AFL/NRL deal pale in comparison.

Good news. I think the level of competetion might be a higher than against WS and Indonesia.

it will be could when MV qualifies for the Asia Champion league, but will we be competitive with a 2 mil salary cap
