Man U directors escape in police van

The three sons of new Man U owner Malcolm Glazer were escorted from the club's ground in the back of a police van after scuffles between officers and angry fans, media reports said yesterday. The sons of US tycoon Glazer - Joel, Avram and Bryan were paying their first visit to Old Trafford since the takeover, which has enraged fans who fear he will cream off profits to pay debts accrued in the $1.89 billion deal. TV footage showed scuffles between police and hundreds of furious fans chanting "die Glazer die" who tried to block the exit of the Glazers.

The Greater Manchester Police were a disgrace. Their haevy handed tactics were shocking. It was only a protest FFS.
