why there are not many beach soccer players in this country, considering we have so many beaches?

nah are you referring to that FIFA beach volleyball stuff that SBS show everynow and again and that i think brazil won against japan about 3 weeks ago?

The final.. Portugal Vs France.. 2 minutes to go Portugal down 3-1 then they score one make 32.. then with 8 seconds to go they score and make it 3-3.. then they lose in the Penaltys shot out..

The australian team was invited for the competition, but there wasnt a team. They had to form a team few days before the tournament. it is a joke

I saw this on SBS a few weeks ago and I found it quite entering! Hopefully this is something that can be developed in Australia in the long term.

Always good to have another sport to play. Saw it on SBS as well. Looked very good.

Marcelo is absolutely right.
I reckon if the FFA down the track gets time to organise tournaments in January around the country ie
Bondi, Torquay, Semaphore, Gold Coast, Scarborough etc. it will be very popular.

beach, sun, soccer, lots of people... what else could you ask for? it is a great way of having fun and socialise

Maybe they should get chicks to play it :D
They should make a rule that the chicks have to wear bikini top and a g-string.
