I don't understand how that shows Paddy being scared of Roy. All it shows is that Keane is a lunatic.

You could see Paddy looking after the kid by taking him out of the way, Roy is just stupid.

Scared of what?
Roy keane is a tosser.Don't think viera is scared of anyone on a football pitch.
Roy should learn a bit of self control, why scare a little kid when he is supposed to be having the time of his life .the kid was only about 7-8.

Come on lads, Paddy has always had a tint of soft in him.
World class player, no doubt, but like much of the Arsenal outside doesn't have leadership quailties when they are most needed. In big games and a big times goes missing.
Those are the times the likes of Keane and Gerrard excel.

Obviously a avid follower of arsenal.
You have no idea stick to watching united and stop making ridiculous comments.
As for deflecting attention pfft.
What was viera gonna do.belt the silly prick. That would be funny but it helps no one but united.
The kid had everything to do with it as he was stuck right in the middle.

Pfft stop crying for the kid, he was fine.
What do you disagree with?
When has Paddy ever lifted when the side has needed him to? Last years FA Cup final did he bet Keane?
How bout in big European Champions League games?

I aint cryin.
In my opinion patty was by far our best player. And as for last years cup final patrick still has the cup.He is a gun who has been the workhorse of our midfeild and sometimes doesn't get the raps he deserves because he isn't a goalscoring midfielder.
Roy tries to intimidate people but most players realise he is a tosser and not worth worrying about. The bloke relies on breaking peoples legs to make his reputation.

What unparalelled success you finished 3rd and didn't win a trophy.
In the cl you were eleminated.
Aren't going to well if you ask me.
As far as roy personally he only get's a game in the irish team because they sacked the coach who wouldn't pick him after falling out with this goose. The bloke has serious mental problems.

I pose a question to you.
Why was Vieira sold for only 13.7 million pounds when he had years to run on his contract?

7 Premiership titles, 4 as captain. 4 FA Cups, 1 European Cup. If I'd left out recent I'd be ignoring anything pre-1993.
Don't know how that gets him Irish games, but to desperately recall a 30 something as captain is a risk they felt was necessary to qualify for this World Cup.

13.7 milion pounds isn't cheap.
He is 29 and is priced about where you would expect.
He is not the type of player who you will base your marketing campaing around ala david beckham-real madrid. So he does not deman=d the massive money of players like these.
He is the type of player who will take you to the cl or win you a domestic title as he has shown over his career.
Arsenal thought they were better off selling him for 13.7 million pounds now than get nothing for him in two years when he would be 31 and out of contract.
Arsenal have a policy that all players over 30 get a 1 year contract only.Obviously patrick wanted some financial security that was offered by juventus in there 5 year deal.Which will take him through till 34.
All in all very dissapointed to see him go but hopefully arsene will find a adequate replacement.

13.7 million pounds is not a lot of money for a player who people say is so good.
I think its just a sign of Vieira's level of performance.

If Vieira is as good as everyone says he is, then somewhere around the 20 million range would befit him.
The original rumoured offer from Juve was 16 million and Enzo Maresca and Jonathan Zebina.
I thought that would have been a great deal for Arsenal.
Gives you an okay replacement midfielder and a defender who is a lot better than Cygan

cygan is for the tip
As for those two not interested.
13.7 is ample compensation for a player of viera's ability.
How much did united pay for ronaldo?

13.7 is not ample compensation in this day and age.
Especially when the club paying is Juventus.
---------------------------------------------
We payed 12 odd million for Ronaldo.
He was unproven and young.
Just vindicates my original point really :)
EDIT: What do you know about Maresca and Zebina?

I can't believe our old mate boxhead is calling Roy Keane "talentless."
Your either blind, don't understand football or your jellous that you didn't get him (as the song goes 'he didn't sign for Arseanl or Blackburn 'cos they're shyte')
Keane > Vieira without a doubt. As they say: "the table doesn't lie"

For starters i aint your mate.Simple Simon i heard you have no mates.
As for not understanding football i would back my knowledge of the game against yours any day.
What does this "the table doesn't lie" ****.?
I am not sure how paying 12 million for ronaldo backs up your point of veira being average. Are you saying ronaldo is average?.
I rekon most clubs would pay more for a talented kid of 19-20 than an old man of 29 going on 30.

The table doesn't lie? In terms of trophies won Keane ****s on Vieira.
No point in responding to the rest of your post because none of it effects me in any way...

Fair enough but that's like saying viera is better because he has won a world cup.The most prestigous trophy in the world.
The amount of trophys united have won is not due to roy keane. As the trophys arsenal have won are not due to viera.

Good point - the entire teams have been apart of the successes of both clubs, but as captains they have both been pretty influential. It's just that Keane has more than Vieira.
Keane has also had the better of their personal duels - both on and off the field :D

Last year you would have got twice that from Real Madrid. Paddy had very much a below far season last.
I see no one on the market that even comes close to filling the hole the Frenchman has left.
Whatever United payed for Ronaldo was a fecking bargin.
