Anyone else been reading about the possibility of this 'B-League' mainly based in NSW and acting as a feeder club to the A-League and some entertainment in the off-season?
Personally i think it could act as a bit of a detriment to the A-League initially... what are everyone else thoughts?

I think a 'feeder club is deffinately a good idea. However, I agree that it could be a bit dtreimental to the A-League.aybe wait a few years to see how the A-League takes off.

Agreed. Feed off the premier leagues in the first two years.

Theres no Victorian clubs yet involved yet, according to speculation anyway
Just teams from Sydney and all up the coast of NSW, and Brisbane Strikers and another QPL club have expressed interest too

South and Green Gully have apparently been approached. I understand the idea, but the timing stinks. Let's get one national competition working before worrying about another one. I can't see it working.

The other thing about it is that SBS are being lined up to broadcast it. Wouldn't SBS love that - a whole bunch of Sydney clubs to drool over.

I wouldn't mind seeing it happen but it would be less successful than the NSL. P'iss poor timing too, I'd wait a while but I don't think the ones behind the 'East Coast League' are too charitable to the new order.
Promotion and relegation anybody?
