Is that a question or statement?

If your asking for the winner I'd give you Argentina (honest!)

After their beating at the hands of Brazil I'd say no way. In fact you can't go past Brazil!

Not Greece or Australia.
Its hard to win a tournament you don't qualify for.

Winner: Brazil defeating Argentina in the final.
Holland beat Czech Republic in the 3rd place playoff.

Yeah, the beating of mostly second choice Argentinian players. Do you not recall, about a month earlier, Argentina beating Brazil 3-1?

Which game? Against Argentina in the WCQ? Yes, Roberto Carlos was in that match, he scored the only goal for Brazil with his free kick, whilst Ronaldo was dropped for a young and vibrant Robinho - a (pretty much) permanent starter for Brazil. They had a full squad, as they did in the Confeds.

I reckon Ze Roberto is a better left back than Ronaldo.

Doubles as a left-mid. Guns it for Bayern :D

I think England is fielding its best team for a long time. When you think of defenders- Rio, King, C***ball, Terry. Midfielders- Lampard, Gerrard, Beckham, Wright, Phillips.

Also up front they have become strong- Owen, Rooney, Defoe.

Maybe another striker is needed but its the best England squad ive seen.

agree, last world cup their middfield was pretty crap, now with lampard and gerrard, they will be hard to beat, just need to find a left middfielder, joe cole might be the answer

Maybe defensively, but Roberto Carlos' drive and creativity make him almost the starting left mid.
And can that tiny man take a BIG free kick.
