2-0 win to Adelaide, great effort by them.

Watched a little at the pub and the rest now as we speak. First goal from Cornthwaite was poor marking in the box and a stock standard header. Denilson looks class and has hit the bar once and had other numerous good chances. Just before half time un unmarked midfielder rockets a superb volley into the bar. Pohang have dominated possession and look a much better team then Chunnam did earlier. Props to Adelaide though they have defended well and taken their small chances.

Just going to add the second goal was perhaps one of the luckiest I have ever seen. The goalkeeper came out and somehow misjudged a longish ball and watched Djite just slide it into the net. Defenders were livid!

Was a very unlikely win.

Possession over the first 60 mins was about 68% Pohang. Just kept hitting the bar. 3 or 4 times i think.

Adelaide had two lucky breaks and scored with both.

So far I haven't been impressed with the finishing of either Korean side in the ACL.

Theo didn't put a foot wrong and Eugene kept Adelaide in the game. Its great to see him getting first team football, he deserves it.

Will be satisfied if we can take a single point from both Osaka and Chunnam over there.

We need to pants Chonburi home and away and make sure we don't let Osaka take any points home from here.

from what i saw, pohang dominated (i only watched bits of second half) but had no idea how to finish. very good passers but just kinda lose it when they get into the box. djite goal was pretty shocking in terms of defence.
