There's pretty good money in the Indonesian game. Quite a few Africans and South Americans ply their trade there. I think it's Persik Kediri who are backed by a big whig in the clove industry (which feeds into the kretek cigarette market).

When Sydney FC were looking at Persik's Erol Iba they couldn't offer him the money he was on over there.
