Beep Test For S-League

Was just looking around today and found out that to participate as an outfield player in the S-League (Singapore) you must have at least made 12 in the beep test. Should be relatively easy for most players as being fit is their profession but still found it quite weird. Thoughts?

pretty stupid imo...why would a league need to have a minimum fitness requirement?? obviously teams arent gunna buy players who are bad, so it cant be a quality thing...the only thing i can think of why they'd do it is to increase the pace at which the game is played...but 12 on the beep test is pretty easy...i reli dont understand y they'd do it
