just wondering if the Morwell/Gippsland Falcons/Eastern Pride are still around? what's happened to them? i know that there's a Morwell Pegasus, but they don't play at Crinigan Rd. is the ground still in use?
definitely miss the trips out there.

Funny what a forum search turns up??
Anyway, for my belated reply...all I can say is stay tuned kidda ;)
Hopefully things will be up and running in the next couple of years with regards to a new elite regional team...it was planned for the V-League but now things have to wait. Money was there. Fingers crossed it will be again.
As for your love of the away trip (90 mins, perfect...just long enough to sink a few tinnies) if not this pre-season, it will be definitely on mid-2008.
Working on something to put to Melbourne which is a little bit more sustainable than just a one-off match. Hope it comes through.

Yes they are still around at this point in time and are playing in the local amateur competition.
There have been rumours around that the local league will be putting in a proposal to the new V-League with games to be played at the Crinigan road ground, so if this goes ahead you may be able to have a trip down here ever now and again.
