Sunday night games will make it difficult to get to
so do yours think mvfc will be having friendlies soon???, or do you think they'll be going on a break? with still long time until a-league starts and plus those european player will neeed a break
More friendlies would be good. I'm enjoying rocking up to the good old suburban grounds and meeting up with some of the lads (and ladies).
Just a note on 5pm games, I thought the atmosphere at the AFL’s ‘twilight’ match at TD was arguably the best yet. It was either a full house or close to one, but I’m factoring that in.
Im up for night time/late arvo kick off... you can get stuff done in the day and, being in the city/richmond for matches will mean its a good excuse to go for drinks/dinner afterwards. The best bit is being close to public transport at td or op will = bevvies for me. I used to have 2 drive to bjs and missed out on bevvy action :(
I hope there are more friendlies too... its nice to put faces to names around here :D and to see the lads on the pitch having a kick. I love my weekly epl and cl but there is nothing like freezing your bits off at a local ground each week... :D
Go Gunners... C'mon Victory... Carn Australia...
Yeah I completely agree. The Saints-Tigers match at TD had superb atmosphere. The attendance would have been helped by the fact it was a public holiday the next day thought. Hopefully MV supporters embrace the Sunday night timeslot because it has big potentialOriginally Posted by Dermot
