James Troisi is in hot form, but for a player who never sticks around at any club for long, will the Victory be able to hold onto him long-term? FVS explores the options.
It’s a pretty impressive CV when you look at it. A young German prodigy that played in the reigning world champion’s Under 19, 20 & 21 youth set-up. Almost half a decade on the books of a well respected Bundesliga club with a rich history that includes a European Cup win. Even a patent on a nifty little thing called a ‘Maxicup’ – a snack cup that allows you to carry a drink and food all in one easy-to-use cup.

As first reported a few weeks back on For Vuck’s Sake segment, Victory’s Secret, Punt Rd pub, the Cricketer’s Arms, have unveiled a Melbourne Victory themed mural of Archie Thompson and Kevin Muscat.
Kev might look a little un-Muscat like, but it’s still great to see Melbourne Victory really engrained in the Richmond sporting precinct culture. The mural is in addition to the artwork depicting AFL and Cricket players already on display in the outside beer garden.
It’s not the first Victory’s Secret this week that has proved to be true. Yesterday, Melbourne released a one-off Champions-themed kit for the UNITE Australia Day match against SydneyFC. Make sure to keep listening to For Vuck’s Sake each week to be in-the-know.
